Privacy Policy
This policy explains how SINLESS (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the SINLESS mobile application, website, and related services.
Information we collect
Account information
We collect your email address, account identifier, optional display name, timezone, and authentication information needed to create, secure, and maintain your account. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are not visible to us in readable form.
Reflection and activity information
When you choose to use SINLESS, you may provide highly personal spiritual-reflection information, including selected sin and fruit categories, dates, strength or severity ratings, repentance status, journal notes, prayer notes, Scripture references, and reflection time. We also generate scores, streaks, and insights from this activity to provide app features.
Subscription information
We process product identifiers, subscription and entitlement status, expiration dates, store information, transaction-related information, and an app user identifier to provide Premium access, purchases, restores, and subscription support. Apple or Google processes your payment details; SINLESS does not receive your full payment-card information.
Technical information
Our service providers may process device, network, IP-address, diagnostic, and service-log information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and prevent abuse of the service. Authentication session information is also stored locally on your device so you can remain signed in.
How we use information
- Provide authentication, synchronization, reflections, scoring, insights, subscriptions, and account support.
- Secure the service, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain reliability.
- Respond to requests and comply with applicable legal obligations.
- Improve the experience using operational feedback. We do not use your private journal content for advertising.
How information is shared
We do not sell personal information and do not use third-party advertising trackers. We share information only as needed with service providers that operate SINLESS, including Supabase for authentication, database hosting, and server functions; RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management; Apple App Store and, when available, Google Play for purchases; and Cloudflare for delivery and security of this website. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business reorganization where permitted by law.
Your choices and controls
You can review information displayed in the app, stop adding new reflections, sign out, manage your store subscription, or permanently delete your account from Account → Delete Account. Account deletion removes your SINLESS profile and associated journal, reflection, score, and subscription-mirror records from our active database. Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and infrastructure providers may retain transaction, security, backup, or legal records according to their own obligations and retention schedules.

Retention and security
We retain account and reflection information while your account is active and delete it when you use the in-app deletion process, subject to limited backup, security, fraud-prevention, transaction, and legal retention. We use access controls, encrypted network connections, row-level database protections, and service-provider safeguards. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
SINLESS is intended for people age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us so we can investigate and delete the account. Where local law requires parental or guardian consent for a teenager, the user must have that consent.
International processing
Information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Privacy protections and lawful-transfer measures may vary based on the provider and location.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as SINLESS changes. We will post the revised date here and provide additional notice when required.
